Tesco Bags of help

Tesco in Driffield have agreed that Luttons School can be part of the bags of help grant scheme for the

month of January. Each time you shop in Tesco and use their carrier bags you should receive some coins to put into the special boxes near the door – if you do not get them please ask. Also if you use the self-service

checkouts you do not get them so you must ask a member of staff. There are 3 different receiving

communities and the 1 with the most coins at the end of the month receives a £4000 grant, 2nd place

receives £2000 and 3rd place receives £1000. Can we all please make sure we can boost our chance of

winning by shopping in Tesco and dropping the coins in the correct box! The grant will be put towards a

revamp for the little ones play area which will make a huge difference to the school.

Class 1 spare clothes

Class 1 staff are desperate for spare girls pants, tights, leggings, socks and boys pants, socks and trousers etc  - if you have any of your child's outgrown items of clothing we should be grateful if you would please donate them to school. Would you also please return any items of clothing that has been sent home in the past.
